The truth
Swan Ramachi | Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 09:38PM i was wondering what Jesus meant when he said ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free, I am not really wondering i know the answer, what do you think he meant.

Now I'll take a stab at it.
Truth...we are god. We are connected by that god energy. We are here ( earth) to experience form. We have connected fully to that form so we think the external experiences are real. oops.
Maybe it;s easier to explain what truth is NOT.
Nice stab at it, your statement is true in the greater sense as we are all connected,bul t in this instance Jesus was referring to personal truth. When we become aware of our honest emotional truth we set our self free to express that truth and let it go. Without acknowledging our personal emotional truth we lack personal integrity. Hence we are lying to ourselves and others, the freedom is experienced when we speak what we are thinking without considering what others may think. So wouldn't it be a wonderful world if everyone was given permission to be honest at all times. Know the truth and the truth will set you free

What is the best way to always be aware of our own truth?
The best way is to understand our own truth is when we have a friction against something or someone, it is our own truth we fight against.
our minds/brains like patterns and its most comfortable within them,this is why we see countless people who repeat there missery and pain,over and over again.Because the mind keeps them trapped there and we become a slave to the mind and not the spirit.
The spirit can be a hard thing to face ,because when you do face it ,it will shatter the reality (pattern the mind kept you in), and then you will move into the next experince (pattern). That in itself scares most people because it is the unknown we go into,when leaving the old pattern.(experince)
why did the spirit take you there? To own that experince! you understand it because you were in it,were it.its now part of you
Also if you look at the events,scenarios in your life how would you be ,if you took all the rules away and the mask in which we "view the world with ?"
your truth will come out.
Honest at all times? I KNOW you don't practice this. More of a creative whimsy mixed with elements of truth.
